COVID-19
At this time, we do not provide COVID-19 vaccination services. However, we are eager to offer vaccination services in the near future.
Meanwhile check out CDC vaccination help page.
The majority of individuals with COVID-19 experience mild symptoms and can manage their recovery at home. Over-the-counter medications like acetaminophen or ibuprofen can be used to alleviate symptoms and improve comfort.
For individuals at higher risk of developing severe illness from COVID-19, there are available treatments that can reduce the likelihood of hospitalization or fatality. These COVID-19 medications must be prescribed by a healthcare provider or pharmacist and should be initiated 5–7 days after the onset of symptoms. It’s essential to contact a healthcare provider promptly to determine eligibility for treatment, even if symptoms are currently mild.
Timeliness is critical; treatment should commence within 5–7 days from the initial symptom onset.
People at greater risk of severe illness include:
- Older adults (50 years or older, with risk increasing with age)
- Unvaccinated individuals
- Those with specific medical conditions, such as chronic lung disease, heart disease, or a compromised immune system
Vaccination substantially reduces the risk of severe illness. However, studies have demonstrated that vaccinated individuals, especially those at risk of severe disease (including those aged 65 and older), may still benefit from treatment. Your healthcare provider will assist in determining the appropriate treatment, if necessary. If you are taking other medications, consult with your healthcare provider or pharmacist to ensure that COVID-19 treatments can be safely used concurrently.
